Example API send and receive flow

The flowchart shows an example commmunication flow between the different systems. The flow between the accesspoint, SML and SMP end is in reality more complicated but for clarity’s sake some details have been omitted or simplified.

If you decide to use the EDI4STEEL API, only the orange/brown fragments have to be implemented.

This example assumes an external is the initiator. When you are the initiator  the same calls will be used only your startpoint will be "Call URLS (Send data)".
